What Makes Our Kel-Tec Pistols Different
Here at JimmyJohns Guns we are firm believers in Keltec Firearms. Keltec pistols are our personal choice for everyday carry and we could buy and carry anything we wanted to at dealer cost. Yes there are better looking guns, there are better guns period. But for the money and function there is nothing better. Lets face it, George Kellgren designed the small carry guns called mouse guns and he must have done something right as his designs are copied by practically every other pistol maker in the USA. So what makes our Keltec's different from any other firearms dealer? We strive to make a great pistol even better. All PF9 and P3AT models we sell are either hard chrome, or they are cerakoted. There isn't much we can do to a hard chrome model to make it better except prep them for the range before you buy. This means they are cleaned of all shipping grease and lubed so you can buy and head straight to the range. However all blued pistols are stripped down to parts, degreased, media blasted, and professionally coated with the best ceramic coating in the industry. That coating is cerakote. You can read about it here.
Every steel part has this self lubricating rock hard coating. Once a firearm is coated you can rest assured that it can be carried in the most sweat drenched pocket without ever rusting. We offer many colors and can even match the grips to the rest of the gun if you desire. Many companies offer aftermarket coating jobs but here you will start out with it. Guns are reassembled taking great care to lubricate where needed. Loctite is used on parts that are prone to coming loose under heavy use. We use light duty blue Loctite so if you ever need to disassemble your gun you won't have any issues. Great care is used in the reassembly process to assure perfect fit and finish. Our guns leave the shop with smoother actions than when they left the factory. We guarantee less break in and fewer issues with your new pistol than if you were to just buy from a big box store and start shooting.
Rest easy knowing that if you do have a problem we will take care of you. In the rare instance you have a gun malfunction we will repair the gun on the spot. If we can't fix it and it has to go back to the factory we will issue you a loaner gun to use while yours is being repaired. Yes you read it correctly, we take personal safety seriously and you will get a loaner while your gun is being repaired. We will also take care of shipping to the manufacturer if need be to save you expensive shipping charges. Yes there are some limitations. It has to be a Keltec product and you have to be a Florida resident. The problem also has to be due to manufacturers defect. We can't be responsible for damages due to improper ammo or abuse. In other words if you do something stupid we can't help you.
How can we offer this service? Well we know how well Keltec takes care of their customers and we know from experience how good the guns are so we really don't expect to have many loaners out at any time.
